Accent & dialect Coach
Hi, my name is Kathryn LeRoux and I am from Colorado in the United States. I grew up performing, and have also trained in public speaking and speech and debate. I went to acting school in Los Angeles when I was 18 years old. While I was attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, I grew a passion for dialects and accents. I have trained in accent reduction, as well as learning advanced techniques to accomplish several different dialects from around the world. I specialize in American dialects, such as the New York, Californian or southern accent.
I want to give students the tools that they need to effectively practice and accomplish their goals. I have worked not only with actors, but business managers and public speakers. Learning control of your voice and your pronunciation of words, will help you gain confidence in many public settings. It will also help you have a better understanding of the english language.
Learning these techniques, and how to use your voice, takes time. How you speak now, is how you’ve spoken for most of your life and will take time and practice to get you to a new level of control and understanding of your voice. Some students will need few lessons, and others will need several weeks or even several months.

Group Training - Sessions booked on your first meeting
Group training is an excellent way to work with accents! Working with different people, from different backgrounds, with different strengths and weaknesses is a great way to learn. We believe in a safe and controlled environment for our students, where all of our students can soar to new heights and make new friends. After your first consultation, the teacher and student can discuss coming into group work based on your level of english, your dialect and previous training.
